Step 1 - Set Goals
Using Balanced SMART Goals which takes into account your professional and life goals, you and your manager co-create a development roadmap covering the next 12 months.
Step 2 - Development
You then undertake the development in your roadmap. For example, for IT professionals this could be an ITIL Foundation or other certification provided by PATHWAYS under the paid professional development scheme.
This can include coaching and structured on-the-job development opportunities
Step 3 - Feedback and Revision
After 6 months, performance feedback is provided by yourself, your manager, customers or fellow team members.
Step 4 - Further Development
Update your development roadmap for the next 12 months
Undertake the development in your roadmap
After a further 6 months, feedback is again provided
Step 5 - Review and Reward
At 12 months, potentially receive a performance-based annual bonus
